Role overview
As an Information Security Risk Officer, you will be at the frontline of the bank’s cyber-defence strategy. You will assist in implementing the Bank’s Information Security Risk Management Framework, assess and mitigate risks in compliance with the Information Security Risk Management Policy, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to keep risk mitigation aligned with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in implementing the Bank’s Information Security Risk Management Framework
- Assess and mitigate information security risks per approved policies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure alignment of security controls with organisational and regulatory goals
- Support compliance with SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) cybersecurity regulations
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and incident documentation
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Familiarity with regulatory and industry standards — ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, SBP ICT regulations
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CC (Certified in Cybersecurity) are a strong plus
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools — Excel, Word, PowerPoint
